                               TERMS AND CONDITIONS
                  Please take the time to read the following terms and conditions.
 
Our tour Policy
Argyll Bespoke Car Tours will endeavour to deliver a tailor made and personal experience to fulfil the expectations of your party. We will not add additional clients to your tour. 

Payment 
Upon accepting your booking, Argyll Bespoke Car Tours will require a non-refundable deposit of  25 per cent of the total cost for single day tours, and  40 per cent deposit for multi day tours ( 2 or more days)
 The final balance is due 4-weeks prior to your tour commencing. 
Should you book a tour within 4 weeks of the tour commencement date, you will be required to pay the full balance upon booking. 
 Full details on how and when to pay will be sent to you. Overdue final balance payments may result in your reservation being cancelled.

 

Cancellations & Insurance 
Should you wish to cancel your tour you should provide Argyll Bespoke Car Tours with written notification as soon as possible,( E mail is Sufficient) as the date of the cancellation is the date on which we receive your notification.
Should you cancel your tour 6-weeks or more before your tour date you will receive a full refund less your deposit (if you have already paid the final balance).
Should you cancel between 4 & 6 weeks before your tour date you will receive a 50% refund of the total tour cost.
Should you cancel between 2 & 4 weeks prior to the tour date you will receive a 25% refund of the total tour cost.
Cancellations of 2 weeks or less will result in no refund. 

Argyll Bespoke Car Tours reserve the right to cancel your tour if final payment is not received by the due date. However should we have to cancel your tour due to circumstances within our reasonable control, we (Argyll Bespoke Car Tours ) will refund all monies paid.
  
Cruise Excursions- Should your cruise ship  miss the port or fail to tender ashore due to weather or for  any other reason, this is outwith the control of Argyll Bespoke Car tours  and unfortunately a full refund will not be made.      
 
We would recommend that you take out adequate cancellation insurance from a reputable insurer to protect yourself against cancellation penalties including any loses incurred by you due to COVID  cancellations and also to cover death, personal injury, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, loss of or damage to luggage and contents and loss or theft of money and personal belongings. 

Argyll Bespoke Car Tours will not be responsible for loss of or damage to baggage or personal possessions or any consequential loss.

 

CHANGES  TO ITINERARY
Whilst Argyll Bespoke Car Tours will do everything reasonably possible to complete your tour itinerary as planned, we reserve the right to alter itineraries if required. 
 

HEALTH and SAFETY
We at Argyll Bespoke Car Tours take your health and safety seriously. Your car and driver/guide are fully insured and the driver/guide is a member of the Scottish Government PVG (Protection of Vulnerable Groups) scheme.
 We reserve the right to refuse to carry any person or persons whose conduct or manner is likely to cause offence or upset to others. In such cases, there will be no refund and we shall have no further liability to those passengers. 

We also reserve the right to refuse to carry any person, who in the opinion of the guide, should not be on the tour by virtue of any previously undisclosed medical condition including fever, disease, contagious viruses, alcohol or drug abuse or any other symptoms that might cause upset or create risk. In such cases, no refund will be given and the Company shall have no further liability to that guest. In the event of any client becoming ill during a tour, then the relevant client must accept responsibility for any medical costs incurred and Argyll Bespoke Car Tours shall not be liable to refund any part of the tour costs.  

All overseas visitors MUST have adequate insurance to cover medical attention (including Covid), accident and repatriation. 

For your safety and /or security we respectfully request that you comply with any advice or instructions given to you by your Driver/ guide during your tour 

Argyll Bespoke Car Tours must be notified in advance of clients who are suffering from any pre-diagnosed medical conditions or are taking any medication to control such condition in order that a tour appropriate to their condition can be planned if necessary

Since tours are arranged to meet your specific requirements and take into account any pre-disclosed fitness or medical conditions, attraction tickets may have been pre-purchased. Should you be unable to access these pre-booked attractions, ticket prices will not be refunded. However, we will try to provide ideas for alternative local attractions at that time. Any additional costs will be the responsibility of the client. 

Please be aware that weather conditions in Scotland vary from area to area and can change very quickly ( it is not unknown to have all four seasons in one day depending on the time of year) and so please wear appropriate clothing and footwear depending on your tour itinerary.

LUGGAGE
  On day tours or cruise ship excursions a small back pack with your jacket and camera etc is all that is needed. On multi day tours please restrict your luggage to 'aircraft carry on size' ( approx. 55x36x20 cms 10Kg) as there is limited space in the vehicle to carry several large cases/rucksacks unless you are travelling alone.
 

Complaints Procedure 

In the unlikely event that you should find the need to complain about any aspect of your tour with Argyll Bespoke Car Tours, the complaint should be promptly brought to the attention of the Driver/ Guide. 
If you wish to lodge a complaint after the tour has ended, or when you return home, please write to Argyll Bespoke Car Tours within 28 days of the tour ending, providing full and comprehensive details and nature of complaint.
 The Company will then endeavour to resolve your complaint in an amicable manner as quickly as is reasonably possible.
